Objectives of Student Elections

Scope and Structure

Student elections at TU are conducted across constituent and affiliated campuses and cover a variety of positions:

Campus-Level Elections

  1. Elect representatives for Student Councils / Student Unions

  2. Positions may include President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Class/Department Representatives

  3. Representatives participate in campus decision-making, student welfare programs, and event coordination

University-Level Representation

  1. Selected campus representatives may participate in university-wide student forums

  2. Opportunities to serve in central committees, advisory councils, and inter-campus initiatives

  3. Student leaders may also represent TU in provincial and national student bodies

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Must be a currently enrolled student in a constituent or affiliated campus of TU

  2. Minimum academic and attendance requirements must be met

Election Process
