Dr. Deependra Parajuli Receives Innovative Research Grant from UGC for RECAST Project

Tribhuvan University’s Research Centre for Applied Science and Technology (RECAST) has been awarded a project under the Innovative Research Grant (IRG) scheme funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for the fiscal year 2080/81 (2023/24).

The Research Approval Agreement was successfully signed among the Principal Investigator, the Executive Director of the concerned research center, and the Research Directorate, and was formally handed over by Prof. Dr. Dipak Aryal, Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University.

Dr. Deependra Parajuli, Principal Investigator from RECAST, will lead the project, which falls under the National Priority Areas identified for research funding. This initiative is expected to promote innovative research, strengthen academic outputs, and contribute to Nepal’s scientific development.

The Directorate expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the University Grants Commission and Tribhuvan University authorities for their support in facilitating this research initiative.
